Market View

PhotonTrader consists of a series of "pads" that can be arranged on your screen any way you like. Each pad has a specific function. The MarketView pad displays quotes for all symbols that you select. It is very similar to a standard quote board in charting applications with the added benefit of being a fully-functional order-entry tool. I other words, you can initiate buy and sell orders directly from this window. Additionally, you can switch and control symbols that appear in other windows via the symbol linking tool.

Market View Pad

• Create multiple tabs to segregate related symbols/instruments.

• Use the right-mouse button to access the quick-buy and quick-sell options.

• Control other pads by linking them to this window. Selecting a symbol here will automatically change the symbol in all linked windows. This is very useful when trading a large number of instruments since it can be impractical to keep a trade pad open for every instrument.

• Use the right mouse button to quickly open a Trade Matrix, market depth or standard order pad window. The symbol will be pre-populated in the newly open window.

• Customize your list of columns by right-clicking on the column headers.

• Sort the list by clicking on the column headers.

• Use the quick-search option at the top to find a symbol to trade in a large list.
